Waivers Editor – Step 4: Data Field Values & Authentication

Set Data Field Values

Use this option to automatically update contact records when someone completes the waiver.

  • Click + Add to create a rule.

  • Choose the data field you want to modify.

  • Select your action:

    • Set to – Assign a specific value to the field.

    • Clear – Remove any existing value in the field.

  • Common use cases:

    • Add contact to a group

    • Set a tag like “Waiver Signed”

    • Update custom fields (e.g., signed location, visit type)

This ensures that every waiver submission helps keep your contact data accurate and organized.


Authentication Settings

Enable authentication to prevent duplicate contacts and improve the guest experience.

  • Turn on authentication to require verification before completing the waiver.

  • Choose one or both methods:

    • SMS – User receives a code by text

    • Email – User receives a code by email

This step helps verify a contact's identity and links their waiver to the correct profile in your system.
