How to set up the Resova - Patch Integration
Connect Resova to Patch using your API key and understand what happens next.
Use this guide to connect your Resova account to Patch.
Before you begin
You will need access to your Resova account and your Resova API key.
Step 1: Log in to Resova
Sign in to your Resova account.
Step 2: Find your API key
-
Open your Resova account an go to Settings > API Key
-
Follow the directions in this Resova article: API Key Management and IP Whitelisting
Whitlisting an IP address is not necessary as that is already configured on the Resova backend for all accounts
Step 3: Send your information to Patch
Email your Patch onboarding representative with:
-
your Resova API Key
-
the date you want your data history to begin
What happens next
After the integration is saved, Patch begins the first sync.
- A full customer sync pulls in your Resova contacts.
- Your product list is pulled in from Resova items.
- Transactions and bookings begin syncing into Patch.
- The scheduled sync runs every 6 hours.
Why the first sync matters
The initial full sync is important because some contact fields are only available during the full customer pull. If those fields need to be refreshed later, a full resync can be run from the Resova settings page.
If your data does not appear right away
Some data may take time to appear depending on the size of your account and where the data is coming from. Recent updates that are not sent by webhook will appear on the next scheduled sync.
