How Resova Orders and Bookings Sync

See how Resova transactions become orders and bookings in Patch.

Resova transactions sync into Patch as order activity and calendar event activity.

How orders sync

Patch fetches transactions from Resova by updated date range.

When a transaction is synced, Patch creates an order finished event.

How bookings sync

Bookings are synced as Calendar Events in Patch.

Participants

  • Participants can create contact records if they do not already exist and have an email address or phone number.

  • Patch can also store the number of participants on the calendar event.

Cancellations

  • Cancelled transactions and cancelled bookings can sync into Patch.

  • If only one booking is deleted from a transaction that has multiple bookings, Patch can delete that single booking instead of removing the full transaction history.

Extras and totals

Some custom extras do not come through as separate order line items. Even when those extras are not available as line items, they can still be included in the order total.

Troubleshooting

  • The counts do not match one-to-one: That may be expected, because one transaction can include multiple bookings.

  • A deleted booking or cancelled order is still visible: Wait for the next sync or review whether the deleted item was deleted for troubleshooting purposes.
