Key capabilities of the Playtomic and Patch integration

  • Keep Playtomic players and contacts in sync with Patch so your marketing audiences stay accurate and up to date.
  • Use bookings data from Playtomic to trigger timely journeys, such as welcome series, review requests, and win back flows.
  • Segment by sport, location, and sport level so you can tailor campaigns to beginners, intermediates, and advanced players.
  • See communication history in Patch alongside key Playtomic details, so your team always has context when they reach out.
  • Rely on Playtomic as the source of truth for core player attributes while Patch focuses on how and when to communicate.

What data syncs from Playtomic to Patch

Once the integration is connected, Playtomic becomes the source of truth for key player and booking data. Patch keeps in sync by listening to Playtomic events and running periodic safety checks.
Exact field mappings can vary by club and account configuration. Your Patch onboarding specialist will confirm which fields are enabled for your account.

Contacts

Playtomic contacts flow into Patch as contact records so you have a single place to manage marketing and retention.
Typical contact details that sync include:
  • Name
  • Email address and phone number when available.
  • Unique Playtomic identifiers that tie the Patch contact back to the Playtomic player profile.
  • Marketing consent flags where provided, so you can respect email and SMS preferences.
Patch creates or updates a contact when Playtomic provides enough information, such as an email address or phone number.

Contacts > Sport Levels

Sport level data from Playtomic lets you target players based on how they play, not just how often they visit.

In Patch, sport levels appear as numeric values on the Contact record, in columns per sport such as "Padel". Other sports can be supported depending on your setup, for example Tennis, Football formats, Pickleball, and more.

Use sport levels to:
  • Invite advanced players to leagues, ladders, or tournaments that match their level.
  • Offer clinics or coaching programs to beginners and intermediates.
  • Build win back journeys that treat lapsed advanced players differently from lapsed beginners.
Sport level fields are read only in Patch. If you need to change a player’s level, update it in Playtomic and let the integration refresh the value in Patch.

Orders and bookings

Playtomic booking data powers many of the most important Patch journeys.
Patch receives booking and related order information from Playtomic so you can:
  • See when and where a player has booked in the past.
  • Target campaigns based on booking recency and frequency.
  • Trigger post visit thank you and review journeys after a booking completes.
Typical booking and order details that sync include:
  • Booking date and time.
  • Venue or location.
  • Court or activity type where available.
  • Order level information tied to an identifiable player.

Calendar events

Bookings from Playtomic can surface in Patch calendars so you can plan campaigns around visits.
This allows you to:
  • Send pre visit reminders that reduce no shows.
  • Run during visit campaigns, such as upsell offers while a player is on site.
  • Trigger post visit review and win back flows based on completed bookings.
You can think of Playtomic as the system that knows when someone is coming, and Patch as the system that knows how to communicate with them around that visit.

Top automations for Playtomic + Patch

Below are common starter automations that take advantage of Playtomic data in Patch.
  • New player welcomes: When a new player first appears from Playtomic, send a short welcome series that introduces your venue, explains how to book, and encourages a second visit.
  • Level based campaigns: Use sport level fields to send different campaigns to beginners, intermediates, and advanced players. For example, promote leagues and competitive events to higher level players while inviting newer players to coaching or introductory sessions.
  • Post visit review requests: After a booking or session completes, send a thank you and a simple review request so you can grow your online reputation while the visit is still fresh
    • Re engagement and win back journeys: Combine booking history, and sport level to identify players who have gone quiet. Send targeted offers or reminders that bring them back before they become truly lost.
Each automation can be customized for your club’s goals and audience. Your Patch onboarding specialist can help you decide which flows to enable first.
