How to Use the Patch AI Widget to Brainstorm SMS and Email Content

1. Open Patch AI while editing a message

  • Use the Patch AI widget when you need help writing SMS or email content.
  • This works while you are building content in:
    • Blasts
    • Automations
    • Templates
  • The goal is to brainstorm message ideas before finalizing the copy.

2. Ask Patch AI for message ideas

  • While inside an SMS or email message, open the widget and type a prompt.
  • Example prompt for SMS:
    • “Give me an idea for SMS content to get more weekend bookings.”
  • Patch AI will generate different message angles you can choose from, such as:
    • Urgency
    • Family or group appeal
    • Birthday party angles
    • Personalized reminders

3. Choose and refine an SMS suggestion

  • Review the suggested SMS ideas in a more readable list.
  • Click Use SMS to insert the option you want.
  • Keep only the version you like and delete the rest if needed.
  • Once the message looks right, continue building and save your blast.

4. Use Patch AI to draft email content in an automation

  • In an automation, open an empty email block and use Patch AI for help.
  • Example prompt for email:
    • “Give me ideas for an email that is a follow-up for a win-back campaign.”
  • Patch AI will generate a draft email based on your prompt.

5. Regenerate or discard email drafts as needed

  • If you like the draft, use it.
  • If you do not like it, discard it and try again.
  • You can refine the prompt to get a different tone or style.
  • Example retry prompt:
    • “Write a fun email to win back customers. This is a follow-up.”
  • Patch AI will generate a new version, such as a friendly “We miss you” style email.

6. Finalize the message and continue building

  • Patch AI can fill in the content you need for both SMS and email.
  • Use it to brainstorm, draft, and refine copy before sending.
  • This helps you move faster when creating messages in blasts and automations
