1. Open the SMS message you want to edit 0:00

    • an SMS blast.
  • Example shown in the Loom: Reservation Reminder SMS.

2. Open Patch AI Author 0:22

  • Launch the Patch AI tool from within the SMS area.
  • Patch AI should automatically detect that you are working in an SMS context.

3. Enter a clear prompt 0:31

  • Write a short, specific prompt describing what you want.
  • Example prompt:
    • Write a short SMS reminding customers they have a reservation for tomorrow.
  • The more specific your prompt, the better the draft will be.

4. Review the generated SMS draft 0:47

  • Patch AI will generate an SMS using your prompt and available AI context.
  • Check the draft for:
    • accuracy
    • tone
    • character length
  • Make sure it fits the purpose of the message before using it.

5. Replace and edit the SMS text 1:00

  • If the draft looks good, replace the existing SMS text with the generated version.
  • You can still make edits before saving.
  • Always review the final message before sending.

6. Best practices 1:09

  • Be specific in your prompt for the best results.
  • Always review the message carefully before sending it to customers.
  • Patch AI Author is meant to help you draft SMS messages quickly, not replace final review.
