1. Open the SMS message you want to edit 0:00
- Start by opening the SMS message you want help writing.
- This can be in either:
- an automation SMS block, or
- an SMS blast.
- Example shown in the Loom: Reservation Reminder SMS.
2. Open Patch AI Author 0:22
- Launch the Patch AI tool from within the SMS area.
- Patch AI should automatically detect that you are working in an SMS context.
3. Enter a clear prompt 0:31
- Write a short, specific prompt describing what you want.
- Example prompt:
- Write a short SMS reminding customers they have a reservation for tomorrow.
- The more specific your prompt, the better the draft will be.
4. Review the generated SMS draft 0:47
- Patch AI will generate an SMS using your prompt and available AI context.
- Check the draft for:
- accuracy
- tone
- character length
- Make sure it fits the purpose of the message before using it.
5. Replace and edit the SMS text 1:00
- If the draft looks good, replace the existing SMS text with the generated version.
- You can still make edits before saving.
- Always review the final message before sending.
