How to Use Patch AI Author to Draft an Email

1. Open the email you want to edit 0:12

• Start by opening the email you want to work on.
• This can be an email inside an automation, an email blast, or another email content area in Patch.
• In the example, the email is being added inside an automation called Birthday Party Email.

2. Open the Email Builder and Patch AI Author 0:28

• Drag an email block onto the canvas if you are starting from scratch.
• Open Email Builder.
• Click the Patch AI Author tool.
• Patch will auto-detect that you are in an email area and show options for Body and Subject.

3. Enter a prompt for the email you want 0:56

• Write a short prompt describing the email you want Patch AI to create.
• Example prompt: "Write an email inviting families to book birthday parties this month."
• Patch AI uses your prompt plus its AI context to generate the email content.

4. Review the generated subject line and body 1:11

• Review the AI-generated email content carefully.
• Check the:
  • subject line
  • body text
  • offer details
  • links
  • tone
• Make sure the draft matches what you want before using it.

5. Apply the draft to the email 1:24

• If the draft looks good, click Use Email.
• Patch will insert the generated subject line and body into the email.
• You can still edit the content before saving.

6. Edit and enhance the email before saving 1:36

• Adjust the subject line if needed.
• Edit the generated rich content blocks directly.
• Add extra content such as:
  • images
  • call-to-action buttons
• Save once the email is ready.
