How to connect ClubSpeed
Connect your ClubSpeed venue to Patch so guest, race, party, and purchase data can power email & SMS marketing.
Before you start
You’ll need from ClubSpeed (or your ClubSpeed account manager):
- API Base URL — looks like
https://yourvenue.clubspeedtiming.com/api/index.php
Each venue has its own URL. - Username and Password for API access.
Ask ClubSpeed for a dedicated integration user when possible (instead of a personal staff login).
Connect ClubSpeed to Patch
- Sign in to Patch for the account that belongs to this venue.
- Go to Settings → ClubSpeed.
- Enter your API Base URL, Username, and Password.
- Click Save & Verify.
- When it works, you’ll see Authenticated.
- If you see a “wait and try again” message, ClubSpeed is temporarily limiting requests — wait, then try again. You usually don’t need to change your password.
- If verify fails, double-check the URL and login, contact success@patchretention.com if you continue to have issues.
- Email your onboarding representative to let them know you've entered all of your information.
What to expect after connecting
- ClubSpeed remains your system of record. Patch pulls data on a schedule (about every 6 hours). Updates are not instant.
- New visits, races, orders, and parties show up after the next sync.
- To refresh one person sooner: open their contact → ClubSpeed tab → Pull from ClubSpeed.
