Automations Reporting
This article focuses on the reports available for both the Automations main view’s data table and individual blocks located on the Automation’s canvas.
Note: To access the block-level reports click on the edit icon (first option in the row) to open the canvas, find the block you are interested in, and click the stats icon (last option on the block’s menu).
Data Table Reporting
The data table columns (also referred to as fields) are at the top of the data table. Below is a complete list of available fields on the Automations data table and the definition for the value.
- Name: The name of the automation.
- Channels: The channel(s) the automation used for messaging customers. Channels include SMS, MMS, and Email.
- Enabled: Whether the automation is currently enabled or disabled.
- Status: The status of the automation. Statues include: Draft, Sent, Scheduled, and Running.
- Type: The type of automation. Types include One Time, Triggered, and Recurring.
- Account ID: The account ID and name the automation was created from.
- Last Run Time: The last time the automation was in the ‘running’ status.
- Next Run Time: The next time the automation is scheduled to run. Note: Applies to any automation. If the automation has a block that is set to run in the future the date and time of that value in the block will populate this field value in the data table.
- # Bounced: The total number of messages that were known to bounce when sent from the automation.
- # Clicked: The total number of known times a message was clicked from within the automation.
- # Contacts: The total number of contacts that the automation reached. Note: This sum is based on the contact’s id and a duplicate contact in your database would count twice.
- # Conversions: The total number of conversions from order finished and check-in finished events that are attributed to the automation. Note: Orders that were refunded are excluded from the count.
- # Delivered: The total number of messages that were sent from the automation and known to be delivered.
- # Opened: The number of messages that were sent from the automation and known to be opened.
- # Opt-outs: The total number of times a contact opted out from messages sent from within the automation.
- # Sent: The total number of messages sent from within the automation.
- Archived: Automations at this time cannot be archived only deleted. The value for this field will always show ‘Unselected’. Note: This field is available because Blasts and Automations share some of the same code. Blasts can be archived. Automations can not.
- ID: The ID of the automation.
- Last Clicked Time: The last time a message was clicked from a message sent from within the automation.
- Last Opened Time: The last time a message was opened from a message sent from within the automation.
- Tasks: The total number of tasks the automation has run.
- Tasks Done: The total number of tasks the automation completed.
- Total Revenue: The total amount of revenue generated from the automation’s messages. Is this always AOV?
Automation Level Reporting
View analytics attributed to an individual Automation as a whole. Multiple dialogs may be opened at the same time in order to easily compare the performance of multiple Automations.
Where can I find Automation level reports?
To access the Automation level reports click the last icon in the first column for the Automation of interest.
Metrics
Overall Stats
Customers Reached: The total number of customers reached by messages within the automation.
Messages Sent: The total number of messages sent from within the automation.
Messages Card
Bounced
The total number of messages that were known to bounce when sent from the automation.
Opt-Outs
The total number of times a contact opted out from messages sent from within the automation.
Clicks Card
Total Clicks
The total number of known times any message was clicked from within the automation.
Click Through
The total number of messages that were known to be clicked is divided by the total number of messages sent.
Conversions Card
Total Conversions
The total number of messages that have a conversion attributed to them.
Conversion Rate
The total number of messages that have a conversion attributed to them compared to the total number of messages sent.
Revenue Card
Total Revenue
The total amount of revenue generated from the automation’s messages. Note: Revenue calculations use the purchase amount first and the account’s AOV as a fallback.
Avg Revenue
The average amount of revenue generated from each automation’s messages. Note: Revenue calculations use the purchase amount first and the account’s AOV as a fallback.
Redemptions Card
Total Redemptions
The total number of discount code/gift cards (Shopify users only) or SmartOffers (Kiosks users only) redeemed from content within the messages sent from the automation.
Redemption Rate
The total number of messages that have a redemption is attributed compared to the total number of messages sent.
Block Level Reporting
All blocks include reporting metrics and can be found within the Automation’s canvas for each block placed on the canvas.

To access the block level reports click on the edit icon (first option in the row) to open the canvas, find the block you are interested in, and click the stats icon.
Trigger Block Reports
The filter on each trigger block can be used to manage when the block triggers the Automation to run.
At Time
- # Times Triggered: The number of times the block was triggered to run the Automation.
- Last Completed At: The last time the block was run.
Check-In Finished (Kiosks users only)
- # Times Triggered: The number of times the block was triggered to run the Automation.
- # Unique Contacts Triggered: The number of unique contacts who triggered the block within the time frame selected.
- Last Completed At: The last time the block was run.
Contact Created
- # Times Triggered: The number of times the block was triggered to run the Automation.
- # Unique Contacts Triggered: The number of unique contacts who triggered the block within the time frame selected.
- Last Completed At: The last time the block was run.
Contact Updated
- # Times Triggered: The number of times the block was triggered to run the Automation.
- # Unique Contacts Triggered: The number of unique contacts who triggered the block within the time frame selected.
- Last Completed At: The last time the block was run.
- Conversation Completed
- # Times Triggered: The number of times the block was triggered to run the Automation.
- # Unique Contacts Triggered: The number of unique contacts who triggered the block within the time frame selected.
- Last Completed At: The last time the block was run.
Custom Trigger (CityGro and Patch admin level 9)
- # Times Triggered: The number of times the block was triggered to run the Automation. This block is limited to CityGro and Patch administration only.
- # Unique Contacts Triggered: The number of unique contacts who triggered the block within the time frame selected.
- Last Completed At: The last time the block was run.
Forms Finished (Forms users only)
- # Times Triggered: The number of times the block was triggered to run the Automation.
- # Unique Contacts Triggered: The number of unique contacts who triggered the block within the time frame selected.
- Last Completed At: The last time the block was run.
Incoming Chat (Messenger)
- # Times Triggered: The number of times the block was triggered to run the Automation.

Conversion Rate: The total number of conversions attributed to SMS messages sent is divided by the number of SMS messages sent from this block within the selected date range.
# Redemptions: The total number of SmartOffer redemptions attributed to the SMS messages sent from this block within the selected date range.
Redemption Rate: The total number of SmartOffer redemptions attributed to the SMS messages sent is divided by the total number of SMS messages sent from this block within the selected date range.
Total Revenue: The total amount of revenue generated from SMS messages sent from this block within the selected date range.
Avg. Conversion Revenue: The average amount of revenue generated from each conversion attributes to SMS messages sent from this block within the selected date range.
# Opt-Outs: The total number of known opt-outs attributed to SMS messages sent from this block within the date range selected.
Opt-Out Rate: The total number of known opt-outs attributed to SMS messages sent from this block is divided by the total number of SMS messages sent from this block within the date range selected.
Last Clicked Time: The last known clicked SMS message was sent from this block within the date range selected.
# Times Triggered: The total number of times this block has been triggered within the date range selected.
Eject
