Canvas Overview
Start: Give Name Your Automation
Upon creating an Automation you are required to give it a name before starting. In the text input in the top left-hand corner of the page, you can edit and save the name of your automation. Note: Automation names can only be 40 characters long.
Steps to update the name of your automation:
- Click the name of the automation in the text input (top left corner)
- Type to change the name as you desire
- To save your updates press Enter OR click the checkmark
Enable and Disable
The switch to enable and disable an Automation from the canvas is in the top right corner of the page. By default, this switch is set to disabled and must be clicked from the canvas or the data table in order to activate the Automation.
When an Automation is disabled the switch is grey.
When an Automation is enabled the switch is green.
Save
When working in the Automation Canvas all of your changes are auto-saved there is no need to manually save except when exiting each individual block.
Exit
Click the ‘X’ in the top right corner of the page in the top right-hand corner to exit the canvas.
Errors
Block errors from the canvas appear above the block menus to the right of the page. Automations with blocks that contain errors can not be enabled. In order to enable the Automation, all errors must be resolved.
Note: Errors that do not block related but apply to saving or the entire Automation appear as a red bar with information about the error at the top of the page.
Warnings
Warnings appear above the block menus to the right of the page. Automations with blocks that contain warnings can still be enabled and run.
Canvas Controls
Canvas Controls can be found in the bottom right-hand corner of the canvas. Control features include:
- Zoom in (Left)
- Reset Zoom to Default (middle)
- Zoom Out (right)
