The Mobile Version of Messenger is very much like its counterpart in the portal.
To download the app, search for CityGro in the Google Play Store or the App Store.
Google Play Store:
Apple App Store:
Once downloaded, it will ask to be signed in with your CityGro Account credentials.
This is the same login used for the portal (app.citygro.com).
When you get logged in, it will load with messages that have not been marked as complete. If you select the Inbox, it will show what options are available to search through for conversations.
There are the same two icons at the top, where you can refresh this page or create a new message.
If you select the icon to create a new message, it will ask you to enter or search the contact you are interested in messaging.
Once a conversation has been selected, the same information will appear for the Sent time, initials of who sent the message, and any other details about activity in the conversation.
You also have the same Event Filter icon, where you can filter through events within the conversation.
From the conversation, you can select the ‘Person icon’ next to their name to view the details in the profile.
The window that opens up will resemble the Contacts in the portal.
Details including contact information will be listed here.
It will have a row of tabs listed on the top to choose from if needed.
This will be the most up-to-date information we have on file for that contact.
Selecting the three dots in the upper right corner gives the same options to Assign to Agent, Snooze, Mark as Unread, or add tags.
Similarly, you can select a Quick Reply or Add a Note by clicking on the 3 dots in the lower right corner next to the Gateway.
Speaking of Gateways, you can change the Gateway basically the same way as in the portal.
To change the Default Gateway, click on the drop-down arrow next to the Gateway that is chosen and it will bring up a list where you can choose which number you want to use.
Once you have selected your contact, and typed in your message, the blue paper airplane will send it.
Keep in mind the character count/indicator beneath the send button.
If you go over the amount it will show you that it will require 2 messages (with the ‘2 msgs’ underneath the paper airplane) to send all the characters in the text.
Messages sent from the store account will appear on the right side in a green or blue bubble.
It will also have the initials of who sent the message and what time it occurred.
Messages inbound from the customer appear on the left side with a white bubble.
