Making an Auto-Reply
This tutorial will take you through making an Auto-reply for TextChat
- Click on the TextChat module on the left side of the screen. Then click on the Auto-Reply module
- Once loaded, click on the orange New Auto-Reply at the top-left of the screen
- Click on the black box in the top-middle of the screen to name your Auto-Reply
- Type your message where it says, Type your message here.
- You can insert SmartLinks and SmartText by clicking the blue Insert button
- You can insert SmartLinks and SmartText by clicking the blue Insert button
- Times section, you can select which time you'd like this response to send
- For example, if this was an Auto-Reply for closed hours. Then you'd select the times you are closed so that message only sends during those hours.

- Send in Reply to section: This is where you can have this Auto-Reply either respond to all messages or to specific messages.
- Specific Messages: Click the orange, Add Trigger (the "Trigger" would be the keyword that would make this Auto-Reply send the typed message). Type in the box what Text will trigger this Auto-Reply.
- Tolerance: Play with the tolerance % you'd like by clicking Add Test in the Tests section to the right and typing a Test message (below the text, it will provide a percentage match to the Trigger text)
- Only reply to messages from ONE gateway: You can select the Auto-Reply message to be sent from a specific Gateway (number). Leave it if you have no preference.
- Once all done, click the blue Save at the top-right of the page.
