How to Create a SmartOffer (Basic)

This article is a very basic, quick guide to creating a SmartOffer. (Click Here for the Advanced guide)

1. Go to the CityGro portal and click on the SmartOffers module on the left side of the screen
   • Once loaded, click the orange + New SmartOffer at the top right of the page
     
     
     
2. On the top left of the screen, click the black box to title your SmartOffer
   • Keep it clean and simple 
     
     
     
3. You will be prompted to choose what type of Offer this will be
   • The description on which to select is under the title
     
     
     
4. After selecting, you will be brought to the Details page. The following is a breakdown of the sections found on the Details page:
   
   
   • Promotional Offer section:
     • SmartOffer Title - The title your customers will see
     • Fine Print - Details to the SmartOffer
   • Limits section:
     • Click the informational i to get descriptions
     • Keep it empty if this is a Promotional SmartOffer (sent by text, email, clicking on link)
   • Punchcard / Loyalty requirements section (Only for Loyalty):
     • Fill it out to how you'd like
   • Redemption Options section:
     • The Kiosk would be where your customers check-in
       
       
       
5. Click the orange Next when done. You will be brought to the Design page
   • Header Image - Add your company logo
   • Background Image - Add a background image (Sometimes it's better to keep it with no background to keep it easy to read)
     
     
6. When done, click the orange Next. You will be brought to the Advanced page
   • Form - This offer can be activated when a Form is completed
   • Filter - Only specific contacts would see this offer
   • Tracking - Put a $ value to track the opportunity cost, revenue brought in by this promo, etc
     
     
     
7. When all done, click the blue Save + Enable
