TextChat - Wix Installation

Wix Installation Video:

1. Sign in to your Wix admin panel.

2. Remove the default Chat Widget.

   • From the Dashboard, click on “Edit Site.”

     

   • Scroll down until you see the Chat Widget on the bottom right. Hover over it and click “Delete”.

     

3. Install the TextChat Widget code.

   • Go to Settings > Tracking & Analtyics > + New Tool.

     *Note: Wix requires you to have an upgraded account and your own domain before you can add the tracking code.

     

     

   • Click on + New Tool and “</> Custom”.

     

   • Paste the Widget code, select “Load code on each new page” and “Body - start”. Click Apply.

     

4. Check the live version of your site to ensure Widget is installed correctly. *The Preview in the Wix Editor does not typically show your widget, even when installed properly.
