Once your form is built you will follow these steps starting at Step 4: Installation of the Form Editor.

Automatic Installation Section
- Navigate to the 'Automatic Installation' section in Step 4: Installation.
- Click the purple plus ‘+’ button in the data table.
Current Form
The ‘Form Setup’ dialog will open. By default, the form you are building/editing will be selected.
- Select Form Type
- Click the dropdown for Form Type and select ‘Popup’.
- Click the dropdown for Form Type and select ‘Popup’.
Specify Pages for Form Popup Display
By entering URL(s), you can restrict the display to specific pages.
If no URLs are provided, the Form Popup will automatically appear on all pages.
- Click the ‘Add Page’ button and then enter the URL of the page in the input field.
- Copy the URL from your website browser, it should look like this (without the “”): “https://patchretention.com/automated-customer-journeys/”
- To include additional pages, repeat the steps.
Select Popup Trigger
An additional setting to choose how this popup will trigger on your site will appear.
Choose from the available options:
- ‘Immediately On Page Load’
- ‘After a delay’
- If you select ‘After a delay’, you will need to specify the number of seconds until the popup appears. Most delay popups are set to appear around the 3-second mark.
- ‘On exit intent’
Configure Popup Overlap Settings
Determine whether this popup will appear over other popups on your site by adjusting the settings accordingly.
Save Your Changes
Once you are done configuring the popup, make sure to save your changes. Your form popup will be configured to appear on the specified pages of your site automatically.
*Please note that due to caching, changes to product configuration may take up to an hour to propagate to the web pages with the Patch Pixel installed. This is also true if you make any edits to your Forms. Please allow time for your changes to update on your site.
By following these steps, you can efficiently set up popups to appear on specific pages of your website, ensuring a more targeted and effective user experience.
