Welcome to the Account Overview Report feature in Patch! This powerful tool is specifically designed for multi-unit businesses, allowing you to gain valuable insights into the performance of each location and aggregate data across all platforms.
Here's how to get started:
Accessing the Feature:
- Log in to your Patch account (Master/Parent is the use case but individual/child accounts can still use this report).
- Navigate to the "Reports" module.
Creating a New Report:
- Click on the purple plus '+' button to create a new report.
- Select "Account Overview" from the dropdown menu. Give your report a name so it's uniquely identified in the main list once you click save and close later in the steps.
Selecting Date Range:
- Choose the desired date range for analysis.
Running the Report:
- Click the "Save & Close" button.
- The report will generate automatically.
Downloading the Spreadsheet:
- Once the report is ready, click on the "Download" button to save the spreadsheet to your device.
Please note: the download will run in the background and can take up to 15 minutes depending on the complexity of the account. Re-clicking download will not speed up this process and will only slow down the servers attempting to process this again. The file will automatically save on your device to wherever you have your 'Downloads' set to go.
Exploring the Data:
- Open the downloaded spreadsheet to access comprehensive statistics for each account and location.
- Analyze metrics such as total contacts, new opt-ins, messages sent, conversions, and more.
Utilizing Automation (Optional):
- Set up automation to schedule report generation at specified intervals, such as monthly or quarterly.
- You can use the ‘At Time’ trigger block along with the ‘Create Report’ block to accomplish this.
- For detailed instructions on setting up this flow click here.
Congratulations! You've successfully accessed and generated your first Account Overview Report in Patch. Start exploring the data to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
