Open the Chrome browser and go to kiosk.patchretention.com.
Log in to your account using your Patch/CityGro credentials. Select the desired account.
Create a new device record for your device, if you have already done this scroll and select your Android device.
Next, you will select the flow you want to use on this device.
Once the flow has loaded you will now proceed to add the Kiosk Web App to the homescreen of your device.
Depending on your device when you click the three dots in the right corner of your browser or the 'share' icon. Next, you will either select 'Add to Home screen' or 'Install App'.
A dialog will show with the app name of 'Patch Kiosk', some devices allow you to rename this. it is up to you just make sure the name you give it is easily recognizable by your staff.
Another dialog will show asking you to click 'Add' or tap the icon to finish installing the app on your device.
Then close out of the Chrome browser you are in and find the Patch Kiosk Web App (Patch logo icon) on your home screen and open it. The app will automatically open the previously selected flow.
To hide your navigation and taskbar:
Open the "Settings" app on your Android device. You can usually find it in the app drawer or by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the gear icon.
Scroll down and tap on "Display" or "Display & Brightness", depending on your device's settings menu.
Look for an option called "Navigation bar" or "Navigation gestures". This may vary depending on the Android version and device manufacturer.
Tap on "Navigation bar" or "Navigation gestures" to access the settings related to the navigation bar.
In this menu, you should see an option to hide the navigation bar. It might be labeled as "Hide navigation bar" or "Gesture navigation".
Toggle the switch or checkbox next to the option to enable it. This will hide the navigation bar from your screen.
If you want to hide the taskbar as well, you can go back to the main settings menu and look for an option called "Taskbar" "Status bar" or "System UI tuner".
Tap on "Status bar" or "System UI tuner" to access the settings related to the taskbar.
Look for an option to hide the taskbar. It might be labeled as "Hide status bar" or "Full-screen display".
Toggle the switch or checkbox next to the option to enable it. This will hide the taskbar from your screen.
