Integrating a Waivers page into your kiosk flow is a key step in ensuring that your clients acknowledge and agree to your terms, conditions, or safety policies before proceeding. This guide will take you through the process of setting up a Waivers page within your kiosk flow, making it an integral part of your client interaction process.
Accessing the Waivers Page
Navigate to Your Kiosk Flow Editor: Start by opening your kiosk flow editor where you can manage and customize your kiosk's functionalities.
Add a New Page: Click on the purple plus button to add a new page to your kiosk flow. This button is your portal to expand your kiosk's capabilities.
Select "Waivers": From the menu that appears, choose the "Waivers" option. This will add a new Waivers page to your flow, dedicated to displaying your waiver documents.
Configuring Your Waivers Page
Design Tab
Background: You can customize the background to align with your branding.
Top & Bottom Content: If necessary you can add content above or below your waiver to provide context or instructions for your clients, guiding them through the waiver agreement process.
Waiver Selection: Select the waiver document. Once selected click save and then refresh the page so you can see your waiver in the preview.
Page Tab
Page Name: Assign a descriptive name to your Waivers page for easy identification within your flow.
Page Settings: Customize settings such as deactivating the page within the flow if needed, managing visibility during server communication, and setting auto-transition times.
Button Labels: Personalize the labels on the back and next buttons to guide your clients through the waiver process.
Page Filter Settings: Add filters to the page to control if this page will show for all Contacts or only Contacts that match a set of criteria.
Advanced Tab
Sync Settings: Decide if the page should sync with your server upon completion. This is particularly important for recording and storing signed waivers.
Automatically Set Field Values: This setting allows you to set data on the Contacts profile based on completing this page. You could apply a data field like a Tag to each contact that completes the waiver so that way you can make sure they aren't prompted to complete the waiver again on their next check-in. If you set any type of data you can then use that data to filter against later or to further segment your database.
Security Codes: Require a security code to proceed to the next page; you can add new codes if necessary.
Flow Settings
Back/Next Button Colors: Customize the background and text colors for the back and next buttons.
Idle Timeout: Set how the kiosk behaves when left idle (e.g., Do Nothing or other options like syncing if check-in started and resetting the flow without saving data).
Flow Security Codes: Apply security codes to the entire kiosk flow, ensuring data security throughout the process.
Finalizing Your Waivers Page
After configuring your Waivers page, review all settings to ensure they meet your requirements. Test the page within your kiosk flow to confirm that the waiver displays correctly and that the signature field functions as intended.
