Patch makes it easy to work with multiple teams when building Customer Journeys. You can leave comments on each block within the Customer Journey you are working on for other team members to be approved before launching each journey or for reference later down the road.
Comments are a great way to:
- Leave feedback
- Take notes
- Provide details about decisions made for other teams
- Document changes to the journey for reference later
- much more!
To leave a comment on a block within the automation first hover over the applicable block, then click the three dots in the menu below the block, and a sub-menu will appear.
You will want to click the paper icon with the folded tip. Once a comment is left a green dot will appear over this icon and will persist to allow others later to know there are comments available.
The comments section of each block functions similarly to your standard computer notepad.
User info, timestamps, and revisions history are not included so we highly recommend including these details manually within your comment. Because this is a notepad-style editor you are able to edit previous comments, even those from other users since this is one consolidated thread so be careful not to delete content unintentionally as this cannot be undone.
